Nasty, nasty bassline to this track.
A must for heavy bass, Street Fighter fans.
YES! YES! YES!
Another winner from Coco Sumner.
LISTEN TO THIS TRACK!
Benga – Katy On A Mission (Katy B Vocal Mix)
Now, tracks like this piss me off.. not because they are bad. Actually quite the opposite. This track is so fucking good that I’m pissed it was kept from us and possibly being kept from actual release. Benga has been quoted as saying Man On A Mission, which is the basis for the beat, will never be released. So one may extrapolate that this track may never been released. So I finally got around to checking out new Dub Police Mixtape – My Style! and lo an’ behold, Man On A Mission makes an appearance! Hoping now for a release of Katy On A Mission.
And you what kids? That fucking angers me.
I want a FLAC/320kbs/Vinyl of this track. But all I got is this radio rip and this is actually the best radio version I could find.
It’s so fucking mega that I can’t believe anyone would keep it from the world. It’s honestly a travesity against humanity.
Now that it’s off my chest, here are a couple more tracks for ya ear drumz.
- Mz. Bratt – Selecta
- Rick Ross – Hello Good Morning (ft. Nikki Minaj, P. Diddy)
- Chase & Status – Let You Go (ft. Mali)
- Heartless Bastards – Sway
- Eliza Doolittle – Pack Up (Riva Starr Remix)
- City Rain – Atonement (City Rain’s Walking On Remix)
- Mindflow – Switched (DC Breaks Remix)

- Rip Groove – Double 99 (Enigma & Shorterz Remix)
And because over at The International House of Tucker we are currently World Cup crazy, I give you the Vuvuzela Beat.
Finally, someone has been a chap and put up a proper copy of Magnetic Man’s summer banger. For those not in the “know”:
Magnetic Man is a live electronic music project consisting of dubstep producers and DJs Skream, Benga and Artwork. They perform using three Apple Macbook Pro computers, one playing drum samples and loops, one playing basslines and the third playing lead sounds and samples. Artwork controls the master laptop, using Ableton Live, to which the other two are synchronised via midi. Their sets usually consist of a mix of original tracks produced together, and live remixes of Benga and Skream’s tracks, accompanied by synchronised projected visuals by Novak Collective.
Windows down, highway cruising and this turned up 40 on the ol’ Camry sound system.

And as a bonus here is Passion Pit’s remix of Katy Perry & Snoop Dogg’s California Gurls.
Katy Perry – California Gurls (ft. Snoop Dogg) [Passion Pit Remix]
It’s everything that you have heard. The screen itself is worth the price of admission here.
Amazing, wonderful, any other adjective you can think about does it.

Massive, massive remix of this song!
Been on the move and busy these past few weeks. I hopefully get to take a rest next week.
Trip to Vegas, then down to the shore and now to Burlington, VT this weekend.
Not much in the way of creativity in picking this set. Basically just what’s been playing in the ol’ cam’s cd player and on the iPhone.
Which BTW, I’m totally getting an iPhone 4. Shit is HOT SON! HOT!

I swear, this kid has great flow.. I love not only this track but the video (which contains boobies and bad words..)
So I’ve been doing some hypem listening tonight and came across a couple new tracks and one track that I didn’t realize I’ve not posted here.
This track gets an A+ in my book. This is perfect coding music for me and really has my appetite wet for the full release hopefully coming very soon.
Lots of wonderful electro yumminess in this track.
Honestly, even though some may say that the band all back together (wait, scratch that). Either way, I’m excited to see what this new album brings.
UPDATE:
Letting Up Despite Great Faults: “Our Younger Noise” from Christopher j Ewing on Vimeo.
Watched that video and it just made it more official that I want to hear this whole album too!
Not totally like 1996, but close. Quick hits:
- Chemical Brothers have a new album about to drop and the first single, Swoon, is a monster.
- Orbital have gotten back together and are planning to tour. No word on if there is a new album in the works. I hope so!
- Underworld is back! UNDERWORLD! Not only are they back but the first single has them teaming up with High Contrast! Yes, that High Contrast! Underworld – Scribble (ft. High Contrast)
This summer is going to be great for electronic music fans.
Love this video and the track is quite catchy also. I always welcome the use of NBA Jam “Big Head” code.
So I’m trying something new this week..
Along with the individual tracks here, I also have included a combined mix (in OGGMP3 format) for some fun. It’s my first attempt in almost 13 years to do some beat matching. That was the last time I had two decks to do this with, even though this time I mostly used software to take care of it this time.
