SSX 3

I ended up picking up SSX 3 yesterday, much to my dismay EB’s website declaring that the game was out on the 20th was incorrect, or more accurately I didn’t read the site correctly. What it meant to say was that the game “ships” on the 20th. So alas no SSX on monday, but yesterday was a good day. Picked it up on my way home and sat down to revel in all it’s glory.

So far these are my impressions:

       
  • The graphics are excellent..

    •    

  • DTS Sound makes all the difference..

    •    

  • The super uber tricks are a good goal, but I’d like to see new tricks instead of just getting a lot of speed or air..

    •    

  • The new snowboard manuals ( can’t remember what they are called at the moment ) are gonna be killer in combos..

    •    

  • I haven’t yet broke the 200,000 mark..

All in all a good game. I’m gonna try and hunt down the headset and then get some on-line time in with the game.
