Bubba Ho-tep

note: for some reason this never got published, so I’m publishing it now.

So Jessi beat both Frank and myself to giving her opinion of this movie and the theater we saw it in. We are such bad bloggers. So we went downtown (that’s D.C.) to check out this new theater Frank found. Aptly named “Landmark’s E Street Cinema“, because it’s a Landmark Theater and it’s on E Street. Yeah, catchy. Anywhoo, we went to see Bubba Ho-Tep and it rawked. I laughed through probably 80% of the movie. Highly recommended for people that want a good campy horror/comedy flick. Also if you liked Army of Darkness, Phantasm or anything Bruce Cambell.
I did not realize the guy behind Bubba Ho-Tep wrote Beastmaster (and Phantasm, which I haven’t seen).
So, you wanna go see The Triplets of Belleville or The Battle of Algiers ( http://www.metafilter.com/mefi/28121</a> ) this week?
