Okay before I forget.. grab the “Official” Gmail Notification app. What does it do? Well it notifies you of new Gmail jackass. Thanks for asking.

looks like you have to leave a browser signed in to gmail to have the "view inbox" function actually open the inbox. currently it just takes you to the login page. well, that is what it is doing for me at least.
i guess looking at your taskbar to see if the browser title updates from "Gmail – Inbox" to "Gmail – Inbox (34)" is too difficult for some.
And some of us that actually have to do work during the course of a day… ahh nevermind.. You suck jackass.
