New Tunes
Well I tried to do the whole “review” thing and it failed. So as one last hurrah I’ve decided to just post a bunch of bands
I’ve been listening too this past week, make a few comments and you can decided how you feel about them.
Some of you might have heard this album or single on your “modern” rock station or maybe at 3 a.m. when MTV actually plays
music videos. Either way I’m really diggin this band. Most likely if you like the rap/rock sound of Limp, Rage, etc. etc.
then you will dig this album (especially fans of Aesop, Slug, Eyedea). Actually even if you aren’t a fan, the other half
of the album will keep your entertained just as much as the other half entertained me. The album is VERY solid and really
isn’t a BAD song on it.
Once again punk/rock albums rule my ears. My Chemical Romance is no exception. Just a solid solid album of moderate paced riffs
and good lyrics. Just for giggles check out the first single released from it “I’m not okay (I promise).” I discovered these guys
the same time as the Killers but put them off as I am still inlove with that Killers album. This one deserves just as much attention.
Ahhhh.. Skindred. What more can I say about this band that hasn’t been said before. They are Fan-FUCKING-tastic. I can’t ever get
enough of this album. Think about it: Punk infused with Raggae mixed with Jungle shacking up with some good rock riffs.
Holy S!! There isn’t a bad song on this album. NOT A SINGLE ONE! It’s just that good. That’s all I’m gonna say about this. If you
don’t have a copy of it get it and you’ll see. If you don’t like it then of course you have no musical taste whatsoever.
