PSP + Comics

PSPcmx allows users to view comics on thier PSP’s. This is a very interesting new use for the PSP. As Rance puts it he usually takes his PSP into the crapper to pass the time. Now he can read comics too. Of course on the site they only have a few indie comics but the potential for this to take off is great. With approx 3 million PSP users as potential comic book readers is very good for the industry. While most comic companys have some sort of electronic distribution of thier products this is a new way of getting there products out to new readers.

Now, I’m a big fan of the classic paper based comic books but I also realize that most of the kids these days have some sort of PDA/Thin Laptop. If the industry can grab some of these digital kids the more the better.
