Nanna? no Nano.

Words can not describe how wonderfully sexy this new iPod nano is. I mean honestly it only holds about a tenth of my current iPod but for some reason I really want a Nano. Maybe because it’s about the size of a business card or maybe because it’s about as thick as one.. i don’t know.. All I know is that this trumped the big announcement of the iTunes enabled fone. The Moto ROKR which is availible now at Cingular. But really who cares? Now if the Nano was the ROKR, I’d care. I’d have already bought it the moment it went on sale.

I think Apple understands that the ROKR doesn’t really matter now, which is why it’s not prominently displayed on apples site. It’s only 100 songs? While it’s probably the most memory I’ve seen in a mobile fone, I don’t really care. $250 bucks get’s me a 4 gig Nano that is infinitely cooler then the mobile. And I already have a mobile fone. Motorola can make a small fone, look at the RAZR and the SLVR. Why not make the Nano the iTunes phone? Oh to dream..

I’m not the only one that thinks the ROKR is L4M3. And I’m sure it won’t be the last person to realize that this isn’t all that great.
