Of homes and family

So some of you know but some of you don’t, the JT’s have purchased a home together. The new house is a town house but still in Reston (we don’t wander far). Here is the a google map of the new place. Also Jessi has some images on her flickr page.

On that note, I’ve been freaking out over this whole deal. I’m staring at an excel spreadsheet with all the information and I’m watching all my money disappear. No worries, I still have a small discretionary fund for comic books and some toys. It’s all dwindling so fast, of course everyone keeps telling me about how this is such a good investment. Yeah, I guess I have the rest of my life to do the stuff I want, right?

So I got enough stress going on right now. Then I get side swiped by some people thinking that unmarried couples shouldn’t live together. This really freaked me out because

• One, I didn’t think anyone thought that way these days.
• Two, I REALLY didn’t think people thought that way these days.

I was seriously surprised to hear that because, I would think that our happiness would out weigh peoples beliefs in a figurative figure that may or may have not existed at sometime. I don’t understand it. I may never understand it.

So there you have it, I’m partly stressed out, partly excited and partly upset over how peoples belief in a deity out weighs the happiness of a family member.

Oh well, f’em. I’mWe are excited.
