I’m only going to say this once.

Why is there a need to place a deadline for a product and then remove
key personel ultimately insuring that said deadline can’t be met?

  • DO NOT expect me to have anything done when you only give me half time to do stuff.
  • DO NOT cart me off to meetings that I have no need to be in.
  • And DO NOT cart me off to said meetings that are going to last 4 hours. 4 hours that I could be working to make the deadline on time.
  • DO get proper requirements for aforementioned product. DO NOT just “make them up as we go along”.

I’m gonna reiterate what I’ve been telling people lately. I really
don’t think the corporate world works for me. I’m trying to make it but
I’m losing the battle. The suits and the ties of this world can
basically eat me for all I care. Of course it would help if you had
bosses that encouraged you along the way and actually knew what they
were talking about. Instead they like to sit on thier thrones and
command from afar not knowing what the fuck we are doing on a daily
basis. Then come review time they all of a sudden know what’s best for
us. Fuck you and the horse you rode in on.

I know they want weekly status reports so the DO know what is going on.
Seriously, that is just lazyness. We all know they don’t read that
shit. Come by and chat or participate in our NON-PC conversations. But
I will let you know, that if you do decide to come and hang out and
your a bore then be prepared to be treated like a bore. DO NOT try to
be “hip” or “with it”. You’ll come off as creepy and will be made fun
of promptly.

That’s it. I’m only going to say this once.

Oh and a “Brown Bag” session is an optional session, if they were mandatory they are NOT “Brown Bag” sessions anymore.

Where do you work?  I sure would not want to work at that place.  Have you applied for a position at Google?
