Supes Returns Redux.
So, the intial excitement of the movie has worn off and I can now take a deeper look into the movie. Be advised if you haven’t seen the movie then you’ll want to stop reading now.
Okay, so if you read my previous entry about the movie then you’ll notice that I only really talk about one character (Luthor) in my quasi-review/orgasmic endorsement of Superman Returns. It’s not because everyone else sucked, it’s just that his part seemed so much better written then everyone elses.
The story took a bit to get up and rolling, atleast 30 minutes before anything really started to happen. That’s fine but it could have been 15 minutes by cutting out the Ma Kent stuff. It was a waste of time as was the flash backs to his youth.
As for Superman, did anyone notice that his emblem was made of smaller emblems? I thought that was an awesome touch. But back to the movie, did Superman have a purpose to fight for? Did anyone notice that “American Way
