Working.. smarter?

Still waiting for my work machine to come in. I’ve been working on my Mac at work for the past few days so it’s not all bad. Investigating Rails and stuff like that which fills up the days.

So far everyone has been super cool and things move rather fast around here. Being the only .Net dev here has it’s interesting advantages. Since all the dev’s here are Java based no one has been asking me any questions. I’ve been in on some converstaions that are just awesome, Oracle Clustering/Grid/Rack stuff, JSF, struts and all other kinds of Java stuff. Hell there is even in old school NextStep/Cocoa developer here (Cocoa is the presentation stuff in MacOSX). Gonna be hitting him up for some lessons sometime in the near future.
