I wanna be an Indigo Child.

Indigo Babies..

I’m reading random Wikipedia entries and came across one for Indigo Children. They are described as the following:

Indigo children is a term used within the New Age movement to refer to children who claim or who are believed to possess certain special psychological and spiritual attributes.

The Indigo Child concept was first publicized by the book The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived, written by the husband-and-wife team of Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. Carroll insists that the concept was obtained via conversations with a spiritual entity known as Kryon. The reason for the use of the adjective “indigo” is not universally agreed upon. Some sources link it with an early researcher into the phenomenon, who was synesthetic. It has also been claimed that these children appear with an indigo-hued aura.

This should so be a comic book. It goes even further and described how these “special psychological and spiritual attributes” break down:

According to Nancy Ann Tappe in “The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived”, by Lee Carroll and Jan Tober, there are four categories of Indigo Children. “The Humanists” are described as “tomorrow’s doctors, lawyers, teachers, salesmen, businessmen, and politicians”; “the Conceptual” as “tomorrow’s engineers, architects, designers, astronauts, pilots, and military officers”; “the Artists” as “creative [...] tomorrow’s teachers and artists”; and “the Inter-dimensional,” “the ones who will bring new philosophies and new religions into the world.”

I could totally fit into something like “The Conceptual” or “The Inter-dimensional”. Seriously, Jessi has said many times that she worships the ground I walk on, that’s like I created a new religion.

There was even a movie about this “phenomenon” called Indigo, which I think is a completely original title for a movie about Indigo children. What was even cooler was that they mention an episode of C.S.I. that I totally remember but I don’t ever remember them calling the little girl an “Indigo” child.

But why I think I want to be an Indigo child most of all? So I have a good excuse for when I say shit that most people won’t say. “What? I’m an Indigo child, I says what I think and I thinks what I says.. “
