So the other day I decided to check out The Grooming Lounge in Tysons to get there famous hot later shave and a haircut. Let me just say first, they will serve you alcohol while you wait and while you are getting groomed. I tried to get a sidecar but they didn’t have all the ingredients so I ended up with a Peroni.

Anyway, I got my hair cut by a guy named Doc. It was a pretty standard cut, nothing out of the ordinary though the back massage at the end of the cut was quite awesome.
After that I got their hot lather shave. This by far was the more enjoyable experience of the whole outing. It various stages of hot face towels with various oils massaged into your face. The whole time the guy, Thomas, was explaining why he was using each product. He also explained a few things about how to get a better shave at home even with an electric razor. Unfortunately he couldn’t give me any hints on how to actually grow a full beard.
Highly recommended for the guys to try out and probably a good gift giving item from the ladies.
