Just watched the iPhone ad.. not bad. I’ve forgotten what great ads Apple used to have before the whole iPod/I’m a Mac ad’s started. The good old Think Different ads and such.

New York Comic Con Day 1
February 24th, 2007 · No Comments
Wow.. So far.. it’s absolutely amazing. I’ve seen Stephen Colbert and several artists and writers for various comic books. Too many to list here. As Kevin said, I’ve died and gone to comic book heaven.
I’m offloading my pics so far from today (210 of them) and will probably not have anytime tomorrow or Sunday to [...]

enviga
February 21st, 2007 · No Comments
Tried one of these for the first time today (Safeway in Merrifield) and I have to say, it really lives up to the hype. enviga is the melding of Green Tea and Carbonation by Nestle and Coca-Cola. Being that Green Tea is becoming all the rage in drinks this year, they are claiming that drinking 3 cans [...]

Sirius buys XM.. Stuck with a shitty product forever?
February 19th, 2007 · No Comments
It’s no secret that I hate my Sirius service. The only good part about having Sirius right now is the fact that I get it for the next year for free. And that’s all.
The channel programming is atrocious and more often then not, I will hear the same song on 3 separate channels not [...]

With an intro like this, how can it be bad?
February 19th, 2007 · No Comments
Honestly, when I heard about No More Heroes for the Wii I just assumed it was going to be like some weird superhero noir game. Then I heard it was by the kids that came up with Killer7. Finally I read the synopsis that IGN has posted about the game:
In this adventure game directed by [...]

More NY Comic Con stuff..
February 19th, 2007 · No Comments
You should probably just resign yourself to seeing a bunch of these posts this week and next.
Cramming all the Comic Con information I can, I came across this post on CBR where one of the writers put up a special Reflections post of his past con experiences. Most are actually really funny but my favorite [...]
Less then a week..

I can’t believe it’s less then a week before Frank and I are taking off to the Big Apple for the NYC Comic Con ‘07!
There we will become BFF with Stan “The Man” Lee and hopefully get bit parts in the next Marvel movie! Ok, so maybe not that but we are atleast gonna [...]

Under the sub heading of Save Our Selves (SOS), Al Gore officially announced the concert and the first 25 bands set to play this concert. The also picked the date of the concert for July 7th, 2007 (7/7/07) [...]

Stupid Valentines Day is f-ing up my Poker Game.
February 12th, 2007 · 2 Comments
Wednesday is Poker night. It has been for sometime now. Valentine’s Day is also this Wednesday. I’m trying to figure out why I should not have my weekly game.
I mean, Valentine’s Day is another Hallmark Holiday. I don’t mind it that much (reminds me of Rance’s explosion last year about V-Day) but why can’t [...]
This explains everything..

I’ve always wondered why Dwayne would do certain things the drunker he got during our weekly DSPC games. There is now a term to describe what it is:
Gaysted (adj.): “when heterosexual people get so wasted, they slip into seemingly gay acts”.
thanks to kottke.

Picked up some Slang Flashcards this weekend. The first one in the deck: biter
Pronounciation: \’bi-ter\
an unoriginal person imitates other “my little sister is such a biter”

Synonyms: copycat, plagiarizer, thief.
“You’re such a biter! Go calculate your own pie chart!”
I should really [...]
A great addition to Leopard Server..
February 12th, 2007 · No Comments
Sitting around indexing (still) my music from all of my CD’s this weekend, it dawned on me what I would really like to see product wise from Apple (or hell a 3rd party would be fine). An iTunes Server product.
Not like the iTunes Music Sharing thing that we have now, I’m talking a full [...]

The Police.. Welcome Back.

They looked great up there playing together on the opening of the Grammy’s. Stewart Copeland looked like you won’t be able to wipe the smile off his face for a few days.
I liked how Roxanne was the track they played but was hoping for either another song or maybe a medley of songs. Either [...]
