Ego-Tastic!

April 27th, 2007 · No Comments

Ran myself through the EgoSurf site. Using my real name, I only got 930 ego points. You get that many just for being listed in Google.
Next run, I used my blog name instead and that got me 4456 Ego Points putting me firmly in the “Mid sized” Ego realm.

I don’t like the new girl, Kim. She has no flair, no emotion and gives these dead pan explanations of the artists and music.
I’ll still be listening to [...]

Novelist Kurt Vonnegut dies at 84.
I actually got re-interested in Mr Vonnegut after his appearance on The Daily Show some time back. I have the audio book for Slaughterhouse 5 and Cat’s Cradle on my iPod waiting for me to fire up.
Maybe I’ll do that sooner then later.

The call has started over at CBR and I aim to help in the cause.

WAITING FOR TOMMY
It’s been a while since this column launched any kind of campaign. But now’s as good as any. We want… DC to love Hitman. The Garth Ennis/John Mcrea romp through the DC Universe with a man who, if [...]

Out of Control

April 10th, 2007 · No Comments

I’m slowly catching up on all my feeds that I didn’t read last week, and I come across this from O’Reilly.

When I wrote my Call for a Blogging Code of Conduct last week, I suggested some ideas of what such a code might contain, but didn’t actually put forth a draft that people could [...]
