So unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about the Apple event that is going on this week. Some of you may even be surprised to actually hear that it’s a week long event for developers and not just a 2 hour event where Steve Jobs showed off the new iPhone. [...]

So, unless you’ve been under a rock, the iPhone SDK was released last Thursday. I’ve been fooling with it since Friday night and I have to say that development for the iPhone is actually quite simple. Following the MVC model actually makes it quite approachable for me since all my web development is MVC based.
The [...]

Wonder if this is coming in the next iPhone update.

Can’t wait for 1.1.1 update of my iPhone so I will be able to hack door locks.
I got this image from the Mercedes ad video in the form of a short movie called ‘The Illusive‘. You can check out the video here. [via Motor Authority]

I wasn’t a big fan of GarageSale for doing my eBay auctions but I have to give them some credit, their new app called GarageBuy is quite handy.
Basically you can setup saved searches and bid on items straight from the app. There are some issues I’ve hit but there are very minor. The biggest issue [...]

Honestly how much do you fucking talk that you have a 300 page bill? I don’t mean to use such a harsh expletive but I just can’t fathom the amount of time that you waste having enough text message and calls that your bill is that large.
Not that AT&T is out of the woods [...]

CoverSutra is 50% off today. This is on my list of first installs when I re-do my MacBook (not for sometime now). This little app has it all and at $10 bucks it’s a steal.
My Favorite Features:
Jewel Case
Global Shortcuts
Last.fm integration

Looks like Fake Steve Jobs has been outed by the New York Times.
I’m kind of bummed about this (not like having a pet die or something) because it was a fun read and not knowing who the author was added to it.
Namaste FSJ.
iPhone week numero uno.

So week #1 with my iPhone is done. It is still awesome. Yep, still.
Thinks that I like:
The device is super sexy. It is not at all heavy and the screen is gorgeous!
iPod functionality is super. This really is the best iPod evah!
edge network really hasn’t been an issue as everywhere [...]

BMW is getting into the iPhone lovefest. Apparently, models built after 3/07 (not mine) with the iPod connector (again, not mine) will be able to seemlessley use the features of iPhone. Pretty Sweet!
Not to be left out, t0fu (or Eric if you must) posted pics of his iPhone. I’m not really sure where [...]

my iPhone is in hand (8 gig) and I’m currently pulling in pictures to post to flickr. I’m also waiting on my number to port from Verizon to AT&T.
Even though I can only call emergency number this thing is super, SUPER fucking sexy. Seriously.. believe the hype.
The rumors are true..

Yes, today is iPhone day. And yes, I will be picking one up today.
The line has already started at the Reston Town Center’s AT&T store. I’m not too worried. Though with all the worrying that Jessi is doing (she doesn’t want the lack of iPhone to ruin our vacation next week.. it won’t [...]

I’m still going to get one. Say what you will about it, it’s still sexy. I will tell you that most of my concerns about the device are also the some concerns that goatberg (Walt Mossberg) has, I share also. I’ve only included the ones that I care about.
adds multiple steps to common [...]
The case of 10.4.10 and the disappearing wi-fi signal
June 26th, 2007 · 1 Comment
Anyone else experiencing an issue with their recently updated MacBook Pro’s going to sleep and not being able to reconnect to their preferred Wi-Fi network?
I’ve searched through Apple’s support forums and found some similar issues but not the exact issue I’m having. For me this is a completely repeatable process using the following steps:
Connect to [...]

Anyone out there listen to the “iTunes New Music Tuesday Podcast”?
Roxy isn’t doing it any more. According to Bob The Producer they “got rid of Roxy”.
I don’t like the new girl, Kim. She has no flair, no emotion and gives these dead pan explanations of the artists and music.
I’ll still be listening to [...]
